There is a difference between unity and uniformity in church workers today. True spiritual unity comes from within; it is a matter of the heart. Uniformity is the result of pressure from without.

Four Characteristics of a person with a Submissive Mind
- A true Christ follower thinks of others, not himself. (Philippians 2:5-6)

- A true Christ follower serves others, not himself. (Philippians 2:7)
- A true Christ follower sacrifices for others, not himself. (Philippians 2:8)
- A true Christ follower humbles himself and glorifies God. (Philippians 2:9-11)
