“As the Father has sent me, I am sending you”.
A true Christ-follower is a person committed to be sent to all the nations as His representative both here and around the globe.
Matthew 28:19-20… And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20. teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Acts 1:8…”and you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you…and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and even the remotest part of the earth.”
How to sustain our mission
- We must place our faith in spiritual things not cultural things.
- Psalm 103:1-5; Romans 12:1-2
- We must place our faith on the timeless not the timely.
- Hebrews 12:2
- We must surrender from the world even if we must stand alone.
- Jude 24, 25
