It is my conviction that we were all created by God with a purpose in life. This is the reason why my passion is to share with everyone that Jesus is our only hope so each one could fulfill their individual purpose in life once they have accepted Him as their personal Lord and Savior.
I value being bilingual and enjoy worshiping and equipping God’s people in their own heart language and culture. I have learned that a spiritual leader’s main ministry is to be of influence to others. Influencing followers not to fulfill my agenda, but to do and be what God wants them to be in living purpose filled lives.
I was born in Cuba and I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior and was baptized when I was 11 years old in a church in Hialeah, Florida (West Hialeah Baptist Church). I came to understand the Lordship of Christ at 21. At the age of 23, during a Hispanic Youth Congress conference in Miami, I accepted the call of God into ministry. I got the privilege of earning my degree in Pastoral Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (Miami Extension) and later going to The Baptist College of Florida and graduating in Biblical Studies.
I have had the privilege to serve Him faithfully in Florida for many years as Youth Minister, Pastor, Conference Leader, and Consultant and served Language Churches through the Florida Baptist Convention as a Church Planter for seven years and eight years as a Hispanic Church Development Director. I began serving as pastor of Hispanic Ministries of First Baptist Church of Fairburn in September 2018.
I have been married to Ninfa since 1989; we have two grown children, Priscila and Ismael whom is married to Kaybe.
